Resentment, Rejection, Revenge……………..
A deathbed reveal in St. Richard’s Hospice makes two almost 40-
year-old half-sisters aware of each other for the very first time.
When Michelle, who has everything in life, heartlessly rejects the
new existence of Tina, who’s dysfunctional life is hand-to-mouth
survival, a chain reaction of envy, revenge, fake-love and fraud
begins. With the increasing likelihood of the fraud being uncovered
before it is successful, Tina and her partner Alfie’s actions spiral out
of control in order to conceal their crime and avoid the risk of
prison.
Set mostly in Worcestershire, Droitwich author Duncan Peberdy is
donating 50% of the profit from his latest novel, Lance Dune House,
to St. Richard’s. This compelling story, which starts back in 1977
with a Queen’s Silver Jubilee party and ends in July 2021, also takes
readers to the sumptuous Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall, to the
French Alps, the canals of Venice, and the sheer madness of Las
Vegas.
Can We Raise £10,000 for St. Richard’s Hospice?
50% of the profit from sales of Duncan Peberdy’s Covid-19 Murder Mysteries is being donated to St.
Richard’s Hospice. For so many charities, the cancellation of mass participation events and closure of high
street shops has reduced incomes during the pandemic. Duncan has signed a formal Commercial Partnership
Agreement with St. Richard’s Hospice , and will update this website each month to track the amount raised.
Lance Dune House
Set in Droitwich Spa, Lance Dune House is a compelling story of money, envy, pretend
love and revenge that changes everyone’s lives, and one that will tug at your heartstrings
and challenge your moral compass. Only who gets murdered, and what would you have
done?
